360 Flex Conference predictions

November 8th, 2007 . by polyGeek

John Wilker twittered that he was going to make some cool announcements. Since I did a bang up job with the Adobe MAX predictions I thought I’d see if I could keep the streak alive.

  • The next 360Flex conference will be in the SoCal area. I’m going out on a limb with LA, because, well it’s really big and they have a lot of conventions there.
  • The conference will be held sometime around the end of July.
  • Admissions will be $499
  • We’ll get a catered lunch but not a dinner.
  • Doug McCune and Deepa will co-host a session and mention their Dummies book 15+ times. ;-) (Yes, I’ll be there counting.)
  • John and Tom will be the hosts

Okay, I’m guarantied to get at least 1/3rd of my predictions correct because of the last two.

See you there!

    LOL. Actually we’re leaning towards a nice town called Riverside, google map it, it’s a lovely place… Just south of LA, north of San Diego. :D

    @John, Fantastic. Where do I send my $$$? Okay, maybe I should wait until you officially pick a place but I’m SO THERE!

    Ha… go to 360Flex so you can hear about an awesome new book coming out called Flex 3 for Dummies! It’s the shit.

    So let’s see, that gives us only 14 more times to hit your threshold?

    I know where the next 360 is, neener neener neener.

    “We’ll get a catered lunch but not a dinner.”

    I’d like to see an opt in on tickets that include food. Last time I bought anything else, no-one added extra money for food I hadn’t requested. Even McDonalds politely asks if I want fries instead of just charging extra and throwing them in.

    @Doug, I’ll make a Flex app that uses ColdFusion on the backend to store the number of times you and the Deepster mention your Dummies book. Or maybe I’ll just make lines on a piece of paper to keep track. :-)

    @Tink, no soup for you!

    @Doug Ain’t it an Idiot’s book, no Dummies?

    @Tink Just give your lunch to Polygeek. That boy is just plain too skinny (so says the Fat Funny Mexican!)

    @Tom, you’re not fat. You’re padded. :-)
