Reading through the Adobe AIR Setting mobile application properties. Good source of info for getting the -app.xml file ready for Android or iPhone.

Just got my vendor approval email from Blackberry. Looks like I’ll be submitting apps to Android and Blackberry tonight during the Lakers game.

Tonight I’m signing and submitting BALLance to the Blackberry Playbook app market. I bought brownies to eat for dinner just for this occasion. I’m going to need to stay in a nice calm mood during this process because I have a feeling it’s not going to go smoothly.

Starting with the simple stuff and making sure I have all the right size app-icons I’ll need. Thanks to @tonylukasavage for putting this chart together with all the icon sizes for Android, Blackberry iOS.

Now for the Blackberry app signing process. Hopefully I can follow @JosephLabrecque’s example since he did it on a Win7 PC like I have: BlackBerry PlayBook: Code Signing Process
Signing up for my Blackberry Key. I wonder if this is something I get right away or have to wait for. Soon find out.

Crap, the Blackberry key submission has to be reviewed. So I guess I’m done with that process for tonight.

Trying to submit to BALLance to the Android Market. First snag is to create a signing certificate that is good until October 2034. Flash Builder doesn’t create certs with expiration dates so long. I found this post that might help: Create Certificate Valid till 2033 – AIR Android apk upload.
That seems to have worked. Found my keytool here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\jre\bin

BALLance is submitted to the Android Marketplace and available for install right now! W00t!
