@Deven, I'm not 100% certain about this but here's how I understand it: The version of the Flash Player is independent of the framework.swz/swf files. So if you're app worked with FP9 it will work with FP10 just the same and the framework files don't change. Obviously if you are using a framework version that requires FP10 features then the user will need FP10. Buttom line is it's always best to test. Just turn off framework caching and see if you're app still works.

http://polygeek.com/1324_flex_a-few-notes-on-using-the-flex-framework-caching

I'm using Flex Builder 3, and in my sdks/ folder I only have a folder for version 3.1.0...and i'm using the framework_3.1.0.2710.swz/swf files for my framework caching.

Does that mean that users with flash player 10 will not be able to access my app? Or does that mean that I now have to have both framework versions in the same directory as my application.swf file?

Thanks.

(fyi...a thread on the benefits of using caching to reduce SWF filesize: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/message/132885)
